This piece welcomes travelers
from I-70's west Lawrence exit, and celebrates Lawrence's
relationship with Native America. Home to Haskell Indian
Nations University, Lawrence has a unique connection to
the history and culture of her predecessors.
Totem, in a spirit
of hope, points to the heavens as it represents the diversity
and unity of Native America.
