Jayson Lowery received his BFA from Northern Arizona University and his MFA from Wayne State University in Detroit.

This piece deals with tensions between two bodies resulting from the first party needing the assistance of a second party while also needing to maintain the focus of third parties on itself; and the need of the second party to shore up the first while remaining inconspicuous. This relationship is evident in physical objects such as roof-top billboards and their support structures. It can also be found in relationships between individual people in many work environments, and between communities of people.
